We and our authorized service providers use analytics, session monitoring, and product telemetry technologies to understand user interactions with our websites, applications, and Services, improve usability, monitor performance, detect and resolve errors, and secure the Services.
01 Information We Collect
Information collected may include:
- Device and browser characteristics;
- IP address (or a truncated/anonymized version);
- Session activity (timestamps, session duration);
- Clickstream and navigation data;
- Feature and workflow usage;
- Performance metrics; and
- Error or crash diagnostics.
We do not collect or store payment card data or other highly sensitive personal information via these technologies unless you voluntarily provide it through a secure, separate channel.
02 Technologies & Providers
We may deploy third-party and first-party technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, and other analytics and telemetry providers (each, a “Provider”).
Providers may collect pseudonymized or anonymized interaction data, including session replay data, mouse movements, scrolling, and click events, subject to the Provider’s configurations and our contractual instructions.
03 Purposes for Processing
We process analytics and telemetry information for the following business purposes:
- Product and user experience improvement;
- Performance monitoring and capacity planning;
- Operational analytics and feature optimization;
- Security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting;
- Service reliability and incident response;
- Legal compliance and internal auditing.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving our Services, ensuring security and reliability, and delivering a high-quality user experience; where required by law or user choice, we will obtain consent before placing nonessential tracking technologies.
04 Sharing & Disclosure
We share analytics and telemetry data with Providers who process such data on our behalf and only in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection laws.
We may disclose aggregated or deidentified analytics information that does not reasonably identify you to third parties for research, benchmarking, or commercial purposes.
We do not sell personal information and do not use analytics or telemetry data for the direct sale of personal data; this statement is subject to definitions in applicable law.
05 Data Retention
We retain analytics and telemetry data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and as required by applicable law; retention periods may vary by data type and Provider.
Where feasible we aggregate or anonymize data to remove identifiers and shorten retention.
06 Privacy & Safeguards
We apply technical measures to minimize identifiability, including pseudonymization, truncation of IP addresses, and aggregation.
Session replay and similar features are configured to avoid capturing sensitive data (such as passwords, payment card numbers, or other personally identifiable information); we redact or exclude known sensitive fields where practicable.
We require providers to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect analytics and telemetry data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Access to raw telemetry is restricted to authorized personnel with a demonstrated business need.
07 User Choices & Opt-Out
You can manage or opt out of certain tracking technologies through device or browser settings (for example, blocking third-party cookies or using Do Not Track), through consent or preference management tools presented on our Services, or by following opt-out instructions provided by specific Providers.
Disabling certain analytics or cookies may affect functionality or your user experience.
