Change Management AI FAQ

The Change Management AI Skill is an automated audit assistant that tracks design modifications across drawing releases. When a new revision sheet set is uploaded, the AI detects all design deltas, calculates their impact on quantities (e.g. adding 200 linear feet of piping), updates budget estimates, and drafts appropriate RFIs or Change Orders automatically.

Change triggers are identified using visual comparison tools and natural language spec parsers. When sheet updates are uploaded, the AI compares coordinates and outlines, identifying discrepancies. It cross-checks these changes against subcontractor bid scopes to flag potential cost additions before work begins in the field.

To estimate cost adjustments inside the dashboard:

1. Open the Change Management module. 2. Select the revised drawing sheets. The AI displays highlighted modifications. 3. Click **Price Delta**. The AI pulls pricing data from matching CSI assemblies (concrete volume, pipe fittings, partitions). 4. Export the generated cost impact report to attach to submittals or client change orders.

When design discrepancies are detected (e.g. wall thickness mismatch between architectural plans and structural details), the AI extracts the specific coordinates, pulls drawing snapshots, and structures a formal RFI draft. It describes the conflict, references standard clauses, suggests resolutions, and queues the draft for engineering review.
